Vote Description
This bill expands several programs that provide financial incentives to certain businesses. For example, it provides for a gradual increase of $25,000,000 a year for five years on the cap for Alabama Jobs Act incentives. It also increases the annual cap on funds provided by the Growing Alabama Act to $35,000,000. CPAC opposes government favoritism toward particular companies and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 13, 2023 by a vote of 103-0 and the bill later became law.
