This bill prohibits schools from referring to a student using pronouns that are not their original pronouns without first receiving the consent of the student’s parents to do so. CPAC supports parental rights in education and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on March 27, 2023 by a vote of 65-18 and the bill later became law.
