Vote Description
This bill dramatically expands Florida’s school choice initiatives by offering education vouchers to every family in Florida regardless of where they live and what their income is. CPAC supports this tremendous effort to promote school choice and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 23, 2023 by a vote of 26-12 and the bill later became law. Sen. Avila and Sen. Garcia later voted Yea after the initial roll call vote.
