Vote Description
This bill prohibits counties and municipal corporations from adopting regulations that prevent the enforcement of orders or ordinances prohibiting individuals from camping on sidewalks. It also prohibits local governments from moving homeless individuals to the jurisdictions of other local governments. CPAC opposes the private monopolization of public spaces and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 27, 2023 by a vote of 99-76 and the bill later became law.
