Vote Description
This bill creates the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission, the likes of which will have the power to discipline and remove district attorneys who are willfully and persistently failing to carry out their duties. CPAC supports efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the public, opposes the refusal of Soros-funded DAs to prosecute certain crimes, and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 27, 2023 by a vote of 97-77 and the bill later became law.
