Vote Description
HB 163 requires that establishments clearly denote when they are selling lab-grown and plant-based meats. CPAC believes that consumers should be able to know whether they are eating real meat, so it supports this bill. HB 163 passed the Georgia House of Representatives in a 161-3 vote on February 27, 2025. The Senate failed to take up HB 163.
