Vote Description
This bill makes achieving a zero-emissions ground transportation system a goal of the state. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 2, 2023 by a vote of 51-0 and the bill later became law. Note: This bill was given one of Hawaii’s signature “defective dates.”
