Vote Description

This bill opens various grants and programs to accredited nonpublic and charter schools, creates facilities and transportation pilot programs, strengthens safeguards and reporting for virtual education, and improves protections for teachers and parents in allegation and notification processes. CPAC champions school choice, parental empowerment, and oversight of bureaucratic systems and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on 2025-02-06 by a vote of 57-28. The bill later became law.
