This bill directs the secretary of state to study consolidating local election dates and mandating vote centers in all counties, hold public meetings, and report recommendations by late 2025. CPAC cautiously supports fact-finding on election administration while insisting any changes protect security and therefore supported this bill. The House passed this bill on 2025-02-06 by a vote of 74-12. The bill later became law.
