This bill bans advisory opinions from the election commission, tightens voter registration address and citizenship proof rules, enhances fraud reporting and investigation for petitions, strengthens absentee ballot affidavit standards, and authorizes post-election procedure audits with enforcement. CPAC backs strong safeguards against election fraud and greater transparency in campaign finance and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on 2025-02-11 by a vote of 65-25. The bill later became law.
