Vote Description
This bill prohibits the government from collecting union dues on behalf of unions. It also prohibits the government from assisting such organizations with political activities. CPAC supports efforts to exterminate the corrupt bargain between unions and the government and supported this bill. The Senate overrode Governor Beshear’s veto of this bill on March 29, 2023 by a vote of 23-13 and the bill later became law.
