Vote Description
This amendment removes a provision from Massachusetts’ appropriations bill that sets up a non-budgeted special reserve fund to provide operational grants to childcare providers. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize such providers and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on May 23, 2023 by a vote of 3-37.
