Vote Description
This bill authorizes the Department of Economic Development to distribute one-time grants to qualifying employers such that they may enhance their cybersecurity. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to pay for the cybersecurity needs of private firms and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 20, 2023 by a vote of 111-40 but the bill did not progress in the Senate.
