This bill authorizes the government to begin seeking a means of using federal, public, and private funding in order to help pay for the creation of EV charging stations. CPAC opposes the government’s increasing tendency to favor the EV industry and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 20, 2023 by a vote of 73-18 and the bill later became law.
