This bill allows community health workers to receive Medicaid reimbursements and become certified. CPAC opposes measures that would potentially allow for the further exploitation of the Medicaid system and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 23, 2024 by a vote of 241-122 but the bill did not become law.
