Vote Description
This bill prohibits landlords from increasing rent by more than 10% each year. CPAC opposes rent controls, the likes of which constitute an infringement on property rights and create housing shortages, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 24, 2023 by a vote of 32-18 and the bill later became law.
