Vote Description
This bill allows the city of Pittsburgh to adopt a special property tax relief program for residents located within its jurisdiction, a privilege that the legislature has also given to Philadelphia. CPAC opposes this form of government favoritism, believes that the legislature should work to reduce the tax burdens of everyone in the state, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 12, 2023 by a vote of 103-100 but the bill did not advance in the Senate.
