Vote Description
This bill increases the occupation tax levied on transient guests staying at lodging establishments in so-called “business improvement districts.” CPAC opposes measures that wantonly increase the tax burden on the people and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 7, 2023 by a vote of 41-29 but the bill was vetoed by the Governor.
