Vote Description
This bill sets up the Medicaid Expansion Fund, the likes of which will use federal and state funds to expand Medicaid. The bill additionally assigns $53,000,000 to this cause, $5,300,000 of which will be taken from state coffers. CPAC opposes the expansion of Medicaid and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 6, 2023 by a vote of 62-7 but the bill was never signed into law.
