This bill prohibits schools from requiring teachers to take implicit bias trainings. It also prohibits schools from taking adverse action against such teachers because of their refusal to take these trainings. CPAC opposes mandatory implicit bias trainings and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 21, 2023 by a vote of 71-22 and the bill later became law.
