This bill extends the sunset date of the Go Build Tennessee Act to 2029. This Act allows the government to divert funds to a marketing campaign aimed at encouraging youth to enter construction-related careers. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to fund marketing campaigns for specialized industries and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 4, 2024 by a vote of 96-0 and the bill later became law.
