Vote Description
This bill doubles the total cap on the amount of tax credits that a developer may receive when engaged in the construction of an affordable housing project. CPAC believes that the government should abstain from interfering in the housing market, believes that government resources should not subsidize wealthy developers, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 25, 2023 by a vote of 126-17 and the bill later became law.
