Vote Description
The Scott Perry amendment to the Lower Energy Costs Act repeals Section 115 of the Clean Air Act. This section allows the EPA to regulate emissions that it believes are negatively impacting other countries. CPAC supports efforts to diminish the interference of bureaucrats in private affairs and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on March 29, 2023 by a vote of 96-336.
