Vote Description
The Rand Paul amendment to S. 2226 repurposes certain components of the bureaucracy initially designed to scrutinize aid to Afghanistan such that it may audit the funds sent to Ukraine for humanitarian and military purposes. CPAC supports efforts to audit the funds sent to Ukraine by the US and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on July 26, 2023 by a vote of 20-78.
