This bill updates Act 250 in a manner that makes it increasingly difficult for housing and other developments to be built throughout the state while giving special carveouts to favored blue cities. CPAC opposes this unnecessary regulation and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 3, 2024 by a vote of 18-10, and the bill later became law.
