CPAC board member Erik Prince is stepping up to aid the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Congo has experienced heightened turmoil in recent months with rebel gangs rising up to claim the capital city and the country’s valuable mineral mines. Congo is an important country for its mining of rare minerals and minerals key to electronic production including cobalt, gold, diamond, tin, and tantalum.
Prince has brokered an agreement in January to secure Congo’s mineral wealth and potentially bring peace and stability to the country.
CPAC is working to raise awareness of the atrocities rebel terrorist groups are committing in Congo. Rebel groups are not only seeking to control the nation’s riches but impose Islam on the Christians there by brute force, including cruel and unusual deaths.
