“The world today is at the dawn of a new era,” declared President of Argentina Javier Milei.
A wave of conservatism is washing over the entire world. Milei rode the wave to victory in Argentina and President Trump likewise did in the United States. Now, they are both setting out on realizing their vision of limited government, family-values cultures, and prosperous economies.
Milei faces the challenge in Argentina of overturning a hundred years of socialism and communism that established a caste-like system, swelled the government, and drove the economy into the ground.
Milei is seeking to restore Argentina to its glory prior to the takeover of socialism and communism by reducing the size of the government, transforming the culture, and boost the economy, but the destruction of socialism around the world will require the efforts of more than just one country. It will require alliances between free nations around the world.
“Just as the ancients once did, I believe those of us who believe in freedom must unite to confront this barbarism. We must form an alliance of free nations, custodians of the western legacy by establishing new political, commercial, cultural, diplomatic, and military ties, and in this regard, CPAC, I think, has the key role to play,” said Milei.
The very first CPAC Argentina conference will make strides in this area to solidify and grow international ties between free nations and conservative movements.
