Vote Description
This bill increases the amount of rebates that may be issued by the Film Commission for motion picture payroll and non-payroll expenses from $10,000,000 to $30,000,000. CPAC opposes programs that subsidize motion picture productions and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 5, 2023 by a vote of 77-20 but the bill did not progress in the Senate.
